Formula X overcomes common side effects of tyre sealants
Formula X Gel tyre sealant overcomes all these problems to offer you a puncture free solution with zero side effects
Wobbling at High Speeds or Tyre Imbalance
Formula X Gel tyre sealant supports tyre balancing and offers high speed stability even at speeds beyond 200 kmph (Most of our users are super bikers). Unlike liquid tyre sealants, Formula X Gel based tyre sealant is a Thixotropic Propylene Glycol based gel when correctly installed is designed to form a permanent 2mm coating inside the tyre. This coat evenly distributes the gel across the tyre thus becoming a part of the tyre itself. Unlike liquid sealants this does not move in the tyre and supports tyre balancing. Hence Formula X Gel tyre sealant is the most sought after puncture proofing solution by professional and expert motorcyclists
Rim Corrosion
Formula X Gel tyre sealant has infact non corrosive properties and will prevent rim corrosion. A point to be noted here however is that if correctly installed Formula X Gel tyre sealant will form the coat on the inner surface of the tyre. It is not meant to come in contact with the rim.
Sensitivity to temperature changes causing hard lumps or flakes inside the tyre
Formula X Gel tyre sealant formulation is THIXOTROPIC, one of our distinct feature that allows Formula X Gel tyre sealant to withstand heat and the shear forces created within a rotating Tyre. The thixotropic suspension has the ability to stretch and recover under mild to severe exposure of the adverse forces and continuously clings to the inner surface of the Tyre /wheel. This ability to evenly coat the inner surface against adverse conditions and centrifugal force is the reason that Formula X Gel tyre sealant will not adversely affect a balanced Tyre /wheel and will not lose the ability to provide protection for the tread life of the Tyre. Formula X Gel tyre sealant is used extensively in Scandinavia and Australia where temperatures reach plus and minus 45 degrees. And it is also used in Africa which has a very hot climate. The gel is designed to perform efficiently across climatic conditions.
Massing when the vehicle is not used for long durations
Formula X Gel tyre sealant coat will not be affected even if the vehicle remains parked for months. The gel coat will remain coated by forming a protective ring in the repairable area of the tyre.
Tyre Sealant expires in a year requiring a refill
Formula X Gel tyre sealant coat has a shelf life of up to 10 years and hence will continue to work effectively without a refill until the legal life of the tyre i.e. until your tyre retains its rubber memory
Tyre Sealants react with the tyre and often void the tyre manufacturer warranty
As Formula X Gel tyre sealant is chemically inert and water soluble it does not affect the components of the tyre and will not affect the manufacturer’s warranty. In case you wish to claim the warranty for your tyre Formula X Gel tyre sealant can be easily washed with water to leave no traces.
Tyre Sealants damage the tyre valve
It is important that you follow step by step instructions to install Formula X Gel tyre sealant. Clearing the valve using the valve declogger or by blowing air will ensure that the tyre valve is not damaged
